I work as an SID at a school in West Virginia. The amount of times I hear comments about me wearing Pitt gear is insane. The typical comments from eat sh** pitt, pitt sucks, attendance jokes, etc. are never ending. It made me think of the huge number of fans in western pa wearing wvu and penn state gear and the thought never comes in my head to do something like that. It just amazes me at how much crap wvu fans talk for a team that hasn't been relevant since the 13-9 year.
