All the same, the WVU fans are so far beyond obnoxious and the Big 12 so grossly overrated as a football conference I'll hold my nose and pull for ASU.

Easy choice for me, WVU over the Toad GraHAM!
Keeps Dana at WVU another few years, and maybe gets Toad Fired so he can move to another Program and abandon his Team and Players as ASU abandons him!

Might be safe to say for me... The only time I would root for wvu... If they were playing against peddstate.

WVU is a rival. I like having rivals. Todd Graham used us for his own personal gain in a very distasteful and ill-mannered way. I don't like Todd Graham.

Easy. Graham is absolutely no factor to Pitt anymore. None. He is a memory, that is growing distant in the rear view mirror. WVU can continue on its path to obscurity north of the Mason/Dixon line (that is Greene and Fayette County lines) in Western Pa. So........Go Sun Devils.

I'm not rooting for Fraud, but I am rooting against the Hoopies. Any loss by the Hoopies is a good loss. Just forget about who wins, as long as the Hoopies lose. We recruit against them, we should always root for them to lose.
I dont want Holgorsen to be fired. I think that as long as he is there, WVU will struggle and be mediocre.

I want Pitt to beat Navy. Literally give no shits who wins any other game. Actually I'm in a bowl picker, and I think I took ASU so I hope they win.
agree with the post regarding Holgorsen. I hope he finds a way to hang on to his job for a few more years, although it appears that Shane Lyons has him in his sights.
The discussions when they left for the Big 12 about them fading into irrelevance locally were often met with cries from the WVU faithful of "have fun while we go play the big boy football!". After they landed Dravon Henry because Paul Chryst and Co. were asleep at the wheel - that was it. They have a bunch of three stars from outside of PA, not one WPIAL guy and they haven't seriously been in the mix for any of them either. They have to win and win at a high level in that conference, or they're just going to become Iowa State over the course of the next decade.

Interesting thread.......If Pitt played Wvu this year in football.....Who do you think would have won?
Depends when they played? If it was the first three or five games, I would favor WVU! If it was 6 to 11 Games, Pitt gets favored! If it was the 12th game, a Toss Up!
WVU did not figure out they lacked the QB to stay with the Great OU, Baylor, and TCU Teams QBS and Coaches. Yet, when WVU switched to a Great Power Running Game they were far more better.
Still, like Pitt in the 12th Game, KSU beat WVU like Miami beat Pitt, so Toss Up, to be fair!
Holgrosen a Good Coach but tough to beat Coaches at OU, TCU, Baylor, and OKSU.
Pitt has to play OKSU in 2016 and OKSU have all Starters back except for 3 Players that graduate, so Pitt Players & Coaches will be facing an even better OKSU and WVU too! A Good Comparison to watch next year between Teams!
I still want WVU in the ACC! But that is just me!
