WVU-Texas Tech Game Day Results:
I predicted it was going to be a close game but WVU proved me wrong by outlasting Texas Tech! I have said WVU is not a bad team just not an elite Team near a Conference or Championship Title unlike what Dana claimed a year ago? The Running Game came alive as Shell was not longer of a Shell of Himself and Small-Wood was a Big-Log. The Offense has not been bad at all, but the Defense suffered injuries and will be worst next year. Again, WVU, Penn State and PITT are very even this year with various problems but Pitt has the better coaching?
Game Day Prediction:
WVU and Texas Tech have both lost to the Top of the Big-12 Ranked Teams. So tough game to call right now between two inconsistent teams dealing with some injuries? WVU is the better Team but Texas Teach has the better Recruits? I think WVU Players are so far down they might not get back up? I am sticking with a close loss to Texas Tech and many Boos and Mountain Mama's Crying in the Stadium will be heard as Boosters start to put their Boots on, and Holgrosen readies to leave as President Gee Whiz wonders what to do? The WVU Players are not happy at WVU either and want a change at coaching. CoachRod wants to comeback East and maybe the answer but that may happen at Virginia Tech not WVU? This is not bad Team of Players and Holgrosen is not that bad of a coach, but it is what it is, and WVU Gee Whiz is ready to pull the trigger. I might be wrong but WVU is in a quagmire and even if Holgrosen stays another year?

Unbelievably but Texas Tech is going to give the Mountaineers a tough game and beat them. Holgrosen gives away his cat before it is shot his dog last week. Mike Vick takes the Cat!

Texas Tech had superior Talent in upperclassmen but Dana out coached one of his old colleagues looking to save his job. It was a close tight game and Dana still needs to beat Texas and KSU to keep his job and avoid losses to Kansas and ISU. He may get another year depending if CoachRod does not want to come back? Still, Dana will have a struggle next year too since he will lose 6 to 8 starters on Defense. So, if not Fired this year it will happen next if they lose more than 4 games? WVU Boosters just cannot stand 7-5 Seasons! In any event, WVU will be going south on recruiting anyway and will not be in the Top 30 and maybe Top 40 this year? Possible New Coaches at VT, Rutgers, UVA, Maryland, Temple and Memphis will hurt his recruiting. Pitt will increase its recruiting as well, as they attract the Smarter Recruits that can see Pitt has better Coaching than Penn State & WVU!
