Many on here for good
reason, simply do not
care. On the other hand,
I'm interested in his
performance since he
left Pitt for Indiana.

They're presently 6-0,
and he's the lead guard.
He's been up and down
since he's been there.
He's played well, played
poorly at times, and has
been suspended. He was
sat down and disciplined.
So far this year.....24 minutes
per game (2nd), 11pts (2nd)
4 Rbs (3, not bad for a pg).
Shooting, 58% Fg's, 66% 3's,
and 76% Ft's., Assists 4.8.
Maybe he's finally settled
down and matured a bit.

Usage down almost 10 minutes a game from its height at Pitt.
Combination of age, good teammates, stable coaching environment, usage down. Maybe he'll be more effective.

I think we see with the guards we have on our team and pretty much every single guard Capel has gotten that they were being used and played way more than they should. But necessarily because we've never had any depth there

It is amazing that both he and Marcus Carr are still playing college basketball, it seems like they were both at Pitt a generation ago.

XJ came in and made a fantastic play then a bad t.o. all in 30 seconds.
Pretty funny. Captures who he has been most of his career

XJ is so much more poised than he was, even just last year. He can be counted on to make the right play 95% of the time. He has a floater now, which he didn't have at Pitt. Still lightening quick. Seems to be a team leader. Good for him.

All the leaving early for the NBA stuff didn’t do him much good and I believe it went to his head . Now that he’s a fifth yr guy and an NBA career unlikely he’s matured . There was never any doubt that he had talent and it’s a shame its taken him this long to play under control .
