here is a serious question, are we sure he's even still on the team? if he wasnt, would we know?

He was there Saturday night. On the sidelines in uniform. Did something happen between Saturday and Monday? I don’t know.

ok, well i guess we have our answer then. yes, him showing up on sideline and being dressed in a uniform is a good sign that he's on roster lol.

It was sarcasm🤣 based on what he said after the Cincinnati game.

All good man.
oh sorry. man i was like, geez, that was harsh...

but we are 48 hours away from him being on the sideline in uniform so my question in hindsight does seem dumb..

That’s on me. Sarcasm over text is risky since it’s hard to interpret haha.

His football career is over, he did have NFL aspirations, I suppose he'd have to try out for the XFL or USFL if anything.
If Tino “The Statue” Sunseri (who was light years better than Phil) played in the CFL, I don’t see how he could play anywhere professionally IMO.

Wish him the best however.

XFL or USFL or CFL, minor league football, I said he could try out if he wanted to, I know they have tryout camps, someone with his resume could show up, didn't say he'd make it :)

He’ll prove you wrong Grown Ass Man.

Sorry, I can’t get over his post-game debacle.🤣

This was such a terrible misevaluation by this staff. I assumed he was healthy and could still throw the ball when Pitt brought him in. At worst I thought he could be better than Slovis given his familiarity with Cignetti's system. One week against Wofford and I was very concerned and one quarter against a real college team was all I needed to see.

Guessing that something has really gone wrong for the guy.
He was a national recruit coming out of high school and his “dream school” prompted him to change his throwing motion. Then when he went to BC he got manhandled to the point that he could no longer effectively quarterback.

This part is speculation but I think his coming home was an attempt at resurrecting his career and it didn’t go the way it was planned because physically he couldn’t.
