how about what Cincy fans have had to endure the past week or so.

After you hit a shot that could win the conf semi-final game with 1.7 seconds left, then snatching defeat from the jaws of victory on that crazy three-quarter-court bank shot as the clock expired.

Then getting eliminated from the NCAA tourney on the "called after the buzzer" dunk shot that was in the cylinder, but the guy's hands were still touching the ball, so disallowed.

THAT is a lot to handle within a week.

If that's true, then that was a silly statement. Pitt fans can't tolerate being worse than 5 years ago, but Cincy fans can revel in something they did decades ago.

Don't want to hijack the thread but since you asked ..... Cincinnati went to the Final Four 5 years in a row from 1958-1959 through 1962-1963 ..... they came in 3rd the 1st two years with Oscar Robertson, then won two National championships in a row the next two years, and the 5th year they were runner-up, just missing a 3rd straight National Championship.
