@RickinPittsburg @BREAL412 His first call would be to Sean Miller. Make him say no which he almost assuredly would. But you have to call.

I think Paul Evans and Ralph Willard are still available! But how could he turn down the Pitt job? He's from here! He wants to "get back East".
People that pushed Dixon away better hope our search doesn't end up a hot mess like UCLA's did.
Wow, Borzello just hammered us. Damn. Not true at all.

Really? Not even top half ACC job? That's ridiculous. That's more or less been the sentiment from every national guy so far.
how did said people arrange that whole alma mater job opening up thing? But how could he turn down the Pitt job? He's from here! He wants to "get back East".

How is it ridiculous?
It's a pro-town, where at best you're 5th as far as fan interest. It's got an incredibly weak local recruiting base, and fans that for whatever reason think that we're a destination that can afford to flippantly run off someone who has averaged 26 wins over the course of his career.
You may disagree, but we're closer to Wake Forest than we are to Duke.
If that occurs the Barnes has not done his job at all.I hope I'm wrong, but I suspect we're going to get some unknown assistant from some mid-major school. He'll be hyped up as the next Jamie Dixon. Or maybe some assistant from a major school with a losing record for the past 20 years. I'm not very optimistic about this search. There just aren't that many decent hoops head coaches out there worth the time.
you're a clown, at least wait to see who they hireBut, but, but. I thought Pitt was one coach away from being the consensus #1 program in America?
Yeah, not really.
Not right now. But it very well could be. It was a top 2 or 3 program in the BE for 10 years so I guess it could at least be a top half ACC program in the future. But, but, but. I thought Pitt was one coach away from being the consensus #1 program in America?
Yeah, not really.
he's off on this. Sean is very interested.
