A little more on the search firm that "found" Stallings

As reported elsewhere Todd Turner, President of Collegiate Sports Associates, once hired Kevin Stallings at Vandy back in the late 90's. He also hired Scott Barnes at Washington a few years later.

Todd Turner was the Athletic Director at NC State in the 1990's and was criticized for allowing a slow decline in athletics at NC State. He was fired and he ended up as the Athletic Director at Vanderbilt.

At that time G. Gordon Gee was the president at Vandy. He is now holds the same job at West Virginia.
Vandy's football program sucked big time while Todd Turner was the AD. My memory is bad on the details but Gee and Turner got into it and Gee simply ELIMINATED the job of Athletic Director. He in short he fired Turner. It took almost ten years before Vandy gave the Athletic Director title to David Williams who currently holds the title.

Turner somehow then got the AD job at Washington. Several years later he was fired again. He then start his consulting firm.
