I thought this was interesting.
Pat Narduzzi has told 2024 commit Moritz Schmoranzer that the staff thinks he could play defensive tackle. Schmoranzer has been committed as an offensive lineman and the coaches still like him on that side of the ball, but after talking with defensive line coach Charlie Partridge, Narduzzi and the staff see DT as a possibility, too.
Given the numbers situation at DT, this would be a move that makes a lot of sense. We'll see what happens when Schmoranzer gets to Pitt in January.
