Bit of a long shot name to follow in the portal, but Traeshon Holden took a visit to Pitt as a rising Junior in 2018. Former Top 250 recruit had this to say about the program at the time:
“I really liked how when the coaches came around to talk to us they told us that if you come here, it’s a family. That’s exactly what I’m looking for when I go to college. I don’t want to be a guy that they recruit real heavy and then when I get there, they barely talk to us and we barely know them. They really made it seem like that’s not what happens at Pitt.”
He went on to talk about receiving the offer from the Pitt coaching staff. “I was really excited because I wasn’t expecting anything. I actually can picture myself going there too.”
Holden had 6 receiving touchdowns and 331 yards on 25 catches (13.2 yard average) for the Crimson Tide this season.
