Kinds of bites. I hadn't watched him play, but he was talked up a good bit by some posters on this site. I believe it was SMF who said we don't beat Miami for recruits. Another W? Haha.

I said we dont beat NC State. Not sure if I ever said we dont beat Miami but I certainly felt that way and will say it now. We will never beat Miami for a recruit.
Fixed your error.Seems like athletes nowadays, and I'm talking about even at the pro level, are all about the "near a BAG” teams.
Alliance 412 gives most of its funding to football, I'll pass.
Miami? Well I'll be a son of a beach.Seems like athletes nowadays, and I'm talking about even at the pro level, are all about the "near a beach" teams.
Money talks plus where would you rather be South Beach or South Oakland !
Guess none of those locations came with the same paycheck !I hate this comparison. Really good players go to Spokane, Omaha, Morgantown, Lubbock, etc. Location plays a very minor rule.
Exactly. Which is why he added "...plus where would you rather be...". His first two words were "Money talks..." .Location plays a very minor rule.

Wasn't this guy supposed to visit here in another week, or was I thinking about another portal player?

You want to enact change, then quit bitching and do something about it.That's a problem when you have a less than mediocre football program draining NIL that could be used for basketball.
This isn’t the university’s money and people willing to fund Pitts NIL should have the right to earmark where they want their money to go .You want to enact change, then quit bitching and do something about it.
Pitt's Basketball Specific NIL
As a follow up to the Coach Capel show the other night, specifically Dr. Duca's appearance, wanted to follow up with more information for anyone interested. It's quite obvious how different the college sports landscape is now. There are certainly pros and cons to it, but we are certainly in a...pittsburgh.forums.rivals.com
But we all know you just want to spend other people's money.
I'm not sure why this is so hard to comprehend. Anyone who wants to fund Pitt BB NIL can do that. This isn’t the university’s money and people willing to fund Pitts NIL should have the right to earmark where they want their money to go .
It takes much more money to fund an excellent Fb program and I just don’t see Pitt Fb being relevant outside of a weak ACC . The big boys will always have more money to work with which will attract the top coaches and players .
Pitt Bb has a far better chance of being relevant on a national level . What they need is a sugar daddy which they obviously don’t ont have .
