Curious how fans “feel” about this team. I do not know if it’s because I no longer attend games because I live in the desert or it is just this team. However, I do not feel the same deep bond with this squad that I have had with other teams. Even when those teams had bad years. The only way I would describe it is that this team feels like a rental to me. Perhaps more like a work group where you brought in a handful of consultants for a project and you know when that project is done they are gone.
Don’t get me wrong I am passionate in my support of the players and what people say about them, but it just feels different. I guess I have always been a fan of watching kids mature from bumbling freshmen to impactful juniors and seniors.
