The worst call of the day was the no call on the FSU sideline for late hit out of bounds.

Pitt comes out moving the ball. A correct 15 yd penalty has Pitt 1st and 10 at the FSU 40.

Instead we punted from our 25.

I dont buy the referees are tanking to get FSU in the playoff. I am convinced however, that these crews are incompetent and nowhere near the level needed to do the job.

There are bad calls or non calls in every game, however when a team takes 10 or more penalties every game it's hard to blame it all on the refs. The top teams who are well coached take less than 5 penalties a game.
