It's not just a Pitt problem. I know someone who was hired at another school as an assistant and there hasn't been any announcements.

Coaching contracts end after Feb signing day?

If not, nowadays the Dec signing period pretty much overrides the Feb signing day with some exceptions here and there.

I’d like to see some changes earlier than later.
