- injected more life into the Pitt program than at any other time since maybe Fitzgerald's heisman worthy season;
- created more energy than at any other time since 13-9;
- has Pitt in on every single 16 and 17 WPIAL recruit of note;
- overhauled the facility within 4 months of getting on campus;
- has his boss/the guy who hired Gary Anderson who that turned around the Utah St. program gushing;
- hired an SEC offensive coordinator who had 2 1000's rushers running a Wisky like attach + tutored a young Drew Brees and is credited with being a pioneer in the spread offense;
- Hired a D coordinator and LB coach who took his blueprint and made a fast aggressive defense and became a Broyles award finalist;
- hired a Pitt alum to coach the DL who recruits appear to love and appears to knows his stuff and who just happens to have ties to the Dad of a priority recruit;
- seemingly gotten buy in from a bunch of guys who were unhappy to see Chryst go - especially 23 and 24;
- appeared to totally take control of Pitt football from top to bottom in 4 months;
- has the personality to be a fun interview without sounding like he is trying to sell you used goods;
- ruffled the feathers of folks in State College;
- tirelessly worked to fill holds in the roster at QB, DE, DT, LB etc;
- has Pitt recruiting nationally, with the possibility of landing a CA Juco;
- excited HS coaches in the area;
- Made Pitt relevant on Twitter
