Yarnell confuses me because Cignetti (and also Narduzzi since he didnt step in) felt Jurkovec and CV were better. And even if Yarnell is better, how much better than them could he be if he couldn't get on the field?

Oh ok. So what about having the 2024 QB1 be the guy who saw the field during a 3-9 season makes you so optimistic? Versus having QB1 being the guy who was QB3 behind two terrible QBs?

I have never said that Yarnell is the answer. In fact, I have said that the QB situation remains unanswered until we see the results on the field. But I'm a natural optimist. I also have confidence in the new OC ... because I'm a Pitt fan.
