When TD got to 303, they pulled him and the place went nuts when they took him out. He crushed them in 76 at South Bend, too.
I wonder if the 4 games still is the biggest yardage for ANY career??

I was at that game with my wife and her younger brother. In the 4th quarter, I turned to my brother-in-law and said I'll bet Dorsett has 200 yards rushing. When they announced that total of 303, I was astounded. It wasn't a low level team. It was Notre Dame!!

Loved the following year too, when Paul Hornung said no way Dorsett was rushing for 300 yards against the Irish. Hornung was right. TD didn't make 300 yards. I think the total was 181, still staggering vs. Notre Dame AT Notre Dame!! Thanks again for triggering my memory bank.
