Gotta win the Notre Dame game Saturday obviously and I feel Pitt MUST win at least one of those road games at NC State or at Virginia the next 2 weeks. If Pitt can do this and beat Louisville at home after those two road games they would be 16-9 overall and 7-7 in the ACC and at that point I think they would be creeping back near the bubble and at least give themselves a chance with road games at Wake and Clemson after that to get two solid Quad 1 road wins. So NCCA Tournament hopes aren’t completely dead yet but winning against Wake continued to at the very least give them a pulse and leave the door open with the slightest crack.

That isn't the way that the NET rankings work.
It is far, far better for your NET to absolutely destroy a crappy team than it is to get beat handily by a good team.
And not only that, but if we swapped out four of those games like you suggest and lost them all we'd be 1-9 versus Q1s and 3-11 combined versus Q1s and Q2s, and all that would do is show the NCAA that we can't really beat teams that are good enough to be in the tournament.
