There‘s already been talk on here about the change to the double hit rule, but I saw they are also now allowing two liberos per set. Any thoughts on how this will impact Pitt, given the current roster makeup?

Teams are already allowed to play two liberos in the same game, they just can’t be on the court at the same time. The new rule allows for two liberos playing at the same time

I don’t like it at all.

Just wondering....what are the rules on this in the men's game, internationally, etc?

No. They didn't allow for two liberos before. Now you can have two but they can't be on the floor at the same time. Only one can serve. It really just gives the coach more flexibility with a DS type player. I would expect you'll see serving specialists in this roll but hey can still only serve out of one position.

The change to doubles is what people are talking about the most. I think it will be interesting to see how this plays out. I personally hate the change. Years ago, the double was called very closely and has been relaxed a lot, anyway. The justification is that it speeds the game up and takes away the judgement call. I guess the NFL could do that with holding, right? There is also this argument that a set that is a double contact will negatively affect hitting. I don't really think that will be the case. You could ultimately teach your setters to put rotation on the ball that the hitters will find useful. Just waiting to see how it manifests itself.

One good change is that interference above the net is reviewable. Protests have to be resolved during the game which could get weird and really slow the game down. Guess we'll see on that one.
