Today's game starts in about four hours, so let's get the game thread going with some predictions.
All week I've looked at this as a trap game for Pitt, and the surest way to avoid a trap game is to come out with just as much focus and energy as the team had at Virginia Tech and against Virginia and at Georgia Tech. Fortunately for the Panthers, they seem to have a coach who prides himself on that - coming out with energy - so I'm thinking Pitt doens't fall into the trap.
If the players have the right focus and energy, they should win this one rather comfortably. I think Nate Peterman has 20-plus completions and approaches 300 yards, I think Tyler Boyd has 10 or 11 receptions and I think the tight ends combine for 6-8 catches. I was wrong last week when I called for a double-digit victory, but I'm going back to it this week. I think Pitt wins 33-16.
