Hola, lair members. Just got back from vaca to a brutally hot house. AC repair guy came this morning and said I probably need a new unit. They are coming later to give a quote and I have no idea what’s reasonable. House is 10 y/o and around 2,500 sq ft.
I’m expecting pain but how much is the question. Also, should I have then check the furnace and maybe bundle? I would be fine spending $10k for a new AC/furnace that will last 15 years and reduce energy bills. Is that realistic? Thanks!
