Taking the pupper for a walk brought back some very nice hockey memories piggy backing on the other thread.

In the mid-80s my cousin and I coached a HS team in the South Hills.
Things were so different. We had 3 rinks. MT Lebo,South Parks outdoor rink, and Rostraver. Only rink up north i can recall was Kittaning .Still have my ticket stub (8 dollars) the first game after they brought Battleship Bob Kelly in to knock off other teams taking liberties with Lucky Pierre that turned into a blood bath.

At Mark Johnson first game as.a Pen after the 1980 Olympics.
Mario's first 10 years but it honestly became like a job.
Couldn't find Mario's first game here in town on TV because it was on a Sports network called oddly enough,Sportsnet I believe.
Pens broadcasting 10-15 games a year called by Sam Nover from Channel 11 TV with Terry Schiffauer as color.
Still have dozens of "Programs, get your programs here". If anyone else remembers the old red headed guy right as you headed in the front turnstiles lol

Numerous coaching clinics at the Arena including speakers and on ice demos Badger Bob,Lou Vairo (coach of 1984 Team USA) and so many others.

Feel free to share any experiences of yours.
