Wow - this series has always been "dark". Now it's quite literally DARK.
The episode was saturated with clues and details. Almost too many to keep straight. Pretty clear the acting in this is going to be top notch given the complexity of every character.
Is this supernatural? Is this aliens? Is this just writing trying to be too clever with too many dangling threads?
I guess we shall find out. Honestly it freaked me out from the opening caribou suicide, to the Iraq war flashback with the woman who only had 1/2 a head, to the character with no shoes pointing the way to a grim discovery, to the one eyed polar bear references - even the Ferris Bueller's loop on Twist and Shout.
