I ran into Nate's father in downtown Austin today as I was wearing my Pitt hat and he asked me if I was a Pitt fan.
He said Nate was born to run this offense and expects the offense to "rock and roll" this fall.
At the end of our talk, he said Nate is switching to #14 since the Yarnells are friends with Ty Detmer's family, which was his number in college.
Amazingly, he didn't trash Cignetti like I did.
EDIT: he also said Holstein is really good.
