Nice bounce back match. Good blocking and defense fueled the comeback in the second set. I noticed that Fairbanks was wearing something, possibly a back support. Has this been the issue that has been nagging her?

Seems there was speculation of an injury of some sort earlier in the year.Missed some time but nobody knew for sure.

She has been wearing some sort of core wrap/support since the Oregon match.

She has a lingering abdominal issue. Playing through it. For a while she couldn’t hit, so they were only playing her in the back row of the 6-2. Better now but still not 100%
