Pitt Wrestling up to #6

Pitt (11-1) jumped up a spot to #6 in the AWN/USA Today Coaches poll this week.

Next three up are #16 Virginia Tech, #14 Edinboro and #11 Michigan

Have to imagine Zanetta and Racciato are just outside that top-20 as well and with Garbinsky starting now he will probably break in the rankings shortly

We could see Pitt take 9 guys to NCAAs this year if everything plays out right.

So happy for these guys. I knew they'd be really good, but I can't say I saw #6 coming. Sets a heck of a precedent for Peters' tenure as HC.

And Zanetta has a perfect chance to return to the rankings with a win over a nice challenge in Dance this Friday.

Can't wait.
