I am one of those guys who likes to think big picture as well as someone who believes that college football is all about perception. (VT will probably be ranked next week right)

Wild game last night with some crazy positives and negatives. Defense looks nasty while the offense looks lifeless only to flip in the final 6 minutes of the game Duke driving 85 yards then Pickett leading his best drive of the game. Unbelievable.

So all of Pitts goals are still attainable. Realistically it’s going to be hard to catch Virginia but big picture that’s ok as long as Pitt continues win games.

If they end up with 9 wins and a ranking which today is still possible, with next years team coming back I think I really like what I’m seeing.

Finish first or second in the coastal every year and stake claim as the Coastal team always going to be there. Beating Duke last night was another step in that direction. Be that team for a few more years and Pitt will start to earn that hype we think they deserve.
