Her name is buried in the names of players who have not played in prior VNL matches. It sounds like they pick 14 from this list that actually participate in VNL. Whether she makes the final 14, it is pretty sweet that she made the list.

Serena is a warrior and and a role model for any female athlete that aspires to greatness. Many are not aware that when she decided to transfer to Pitt from Penn State she had lost her enthusiasm to continue to compete. Under Dan Fisher she became rejuvenated, elevated her game, and became a 1st team All American. Congratulations to Serena.

The amount of talent on that roster is wild. I would pay for a ticket to watch them scrimmage in practice.
Alas, Serena does not make the final squad. Still great seeing her name up there.
