What are everyone’s thought? IMO Nate is the Spring starter, but Eli takes over as QB1 in summer practices. Hypothetically, Nate does very well as a starter this season, he won’t have good draft prospects due to his overall lack of experience, meaning he would have to come back to Pitt another year. That would mean our blue chip Alabama scout team leader going up against Caleb Downs weekly doesn’t have a chance to start until his redshirt junior year, which wouldn’t happen. All 3 QBs are learning the new system, and to me, it feels inevitable Eli starts. Use this upcoming year as an adjustment year, then go all in in 2025 to win the ACC with Eli and the OC having a year of experience.
