Watching highlights of the Sun Bowl.
Some highlights:
Rodney Hammond is really good. Strong runner and his heads up play on the second drive on 4ths and short when he picked up Pattis fumbled snap was a heads up play.
DTR is an a-hole. Fits in with the Browns.
Bartholomew is a underrated blocker
Game would’ve been way different if Robinson didn’t throw the red zone pick midway through the 2nd
qtr.
Same thing with throw behind the tight end early in 3rd qtr. Huge int there.
If the Sun Bowl Carrie’s over, Bub Means will have a special season. Same thing for Mump.
Referees screwed Pitt on the running into the punter call. That was clearly a personal foul. Sort of make up call on Pitts next drive with the phantom PI call. I’ll take it though.
Down 14 late in 3rd. Team showed a ton of heart. That’s is good coaching and great culture.
Daniel Carter is a strong short yardage back.
We are going to miss Vincent Davis more than I imagined. Tough kid.
While not as obvious as Sam Hartman in the ACC Champ game, DTR quit on his team. The only injury he had was to his pride.

How fitting that MJ ended the game with the ball in his hands.
