Pitt won out over several schools for JUCO center Tyronne Haughton this summer. To my knowledge he hasn't played a single minute this year. Pitt is lacking production at the 5 position other than Young.
Young would probably be even better at the 4 if Pitt had a competent center.
Why would JD offer a scholarship to Haughton and then not play him? Is Haughton that bad? I assume Haughton is gone after this year. This seems to be a major waste of a scholarship IMO.
