"we had 'em all the way!" Thanks Gunner..and a few thoughts

not a pretty game...small crowd, rain, rain and more rain...Boyd came back and played well in the first half (though most were 5 yard throws), we ran the ball well, Peterman found Holtz a few times and the TD was a superb throw. On D, the line played well, our DBs were ok (some key drops by Akron) and need to secure the ball runner (A few missed high tackles which gave them an extra 7-8 yards), LBs were effective, though they bit too much on the TD run. Special Teams (other than the missed FG) made no mistakes.

It's another Win!

Yep, not a pretty win, but a win. With Iowa and VaTech next, we needed to be 2-0.

Is Boyd hurt, or did we just decide we were definitely going to win and so we saved him in the second half?
