I think the pause and move to spring season really helped this team- the offense has a lot of options and their service game has really improved.

In the fall they were pretty limited on offense - basically 2 outside hitters and one middle hitter they could rely on. Now At least 4 strong outside hitters - maybe 5 - and 2 middle. Looks like a different team from the fall.

They are playing really well.

I did some math while watching the match today. Pitt is 21-9 in sets against the top 7 teams in the conference. Louisville is 9-8. After that first catastrophic weekend against Syracuse, Pitt has been pretty clearly the best team in the ACC.
