I don't know what it is, how it comes about, and all Pitt Fans can complain about the Pitt Programs ups and downs, changes of coaches, as well as solicitude's, attitude's and gratitude's. Still, the one continued constant The University of Pittsburgh has always produced. Are those Special People that choose to become Pitt Football Players that do things unexpected, shining so ever dim at first with a wink and smile? At that point becomes a Lateran Candle, high on Top of Old Cathy, flickering as a glimmer in their eyes. At that juncture grows into a brighter twinkle, and then advances into a dazzling light ending up making every Pitt Alumnus and Fans proud to love the Panthers even at the darkest times or just as dusk becomes a new dawn!
