Tell me about Jaland Lowe...

many way too generous to Jaland here

he will be mauled in the SEC every game and defensively if he stops a blow by at any point it will be his first

obviously he can shoot FT's and should shoot better numbers from 3 but only because he can't shoot much worse

if you expect him to be a team leader, he will try but he is unlikely going to be an upgrade for you at KY unless the coaching changes everything.....and that chance is at least a possibility I guess considering Capel

You can always trust Tiktok to be fair and balanced on China. I half agree with you. I do blame white men for this mess we're in.

But, minorities get all these legal bennies and DEI help and government handouts, and they still whine and complain how they are held down. It goes both ways.

How many thirdly worlders is China taking in? How about all that China foreign aid? They are all MCGAts I guess.

Happy trolling. 😉

To be fair, that's Tim Cook talking not tiktok...lol

Looks like Fauci will be spending the remainder of his life in courtrooms

It looks like you kept premium here, do you find it to be improved now?
Its geared more to the pace and style of info i want. I dont need 3 "articles" a day telling what some kid from florida ate for breakfast and how big their subsequent dump was. Plus the board has cleared up and there arent the same 5 posters doing 80% of the posting putting up garbage threads.
I like pauls style and it will only get better.

I don’t think they’re looking to fill some internal quota when hiring a black man to coach men’s football or basketball. Those guys simply weren’t good hires. But if they hired a black woman or a trans whatever…then it would be gratuitous woke crap.

Bunch of unmarried white liberal women no doubt. I think I spotted Joey carrying the banner though.
josephinedavid. i commend it/that for standing tall with its beliefs. It reminds me of PSU during the sandusky scandel, but atleast they fired Joepa.

Rothstein Picks Pitt 8th in ACC

PG Lowe replaces Bub
SG Ish replaces Lowe
Wing Austin
Wing Delalic replaces Blake
Big Corhen replaces Fede

Bench
Dunn replaces Ish
GDG
Beebah
JDG, Papa, Amdy replaces Will

On paper, this is Capel's most talented roster imo. I think you could see Dunn, GDG and Beebah all being first subs without much falloff from the first five.

The best 5 out Lowe, Ish, Dunn, Delalic and GDG. Dunn as a 40% catch and shoot option over Austin.
stick to transgender rights and Men competing vs girls. you might get that correct...

I don't think people realize how many jobs this is about to destroy.

They're willing to sacrifice. It'd be different if the hapless Dems offered any plans to slow the decay of our society and transfer of American wealth to the rest of the globe

Sometimes a badger has to chew off a leg to escape eventual death at the hands of the trapper.

In a way, we should thank the troons, AntiFa nuts, Me Too psychos and various invading hordes for jarring Americans from our slumber. Christ is King. 🇺🇸
The oligarchs thank you for being their pawns.

Restoring Decency in the White House

lol...nothing says restoring dignity to the White House like the NVIDIA Presents the META Easter Egg Roll, brought to you by Amazon in collaboration with McDonalds.

For the low price of $75,000 you too can get your logo slapped on Easter baskets. For $200,000 you get to have your logo sewn into the President of the United States' suit like a NASCAR driver.

But I guess it's better than doubling the national debt to buy enough eggs for the kids to play with.
Beats troons and degenerates flashing their fake tits on the whitehouse lawn. Or the crack head son

but I get that the left loves and defenses drag queens and troons and is normalizing Maps. Nice comparison

Rothstein Picks Pitt 8th in ACC

I would say the program exceeded everyone's expectations the last 2 years. We were picked 14th and 9th the last 2 years in the preseason rankings and we ended up finishing tied for 3rd place and 4th place in the final acc standings.

Here's our top 3 returning scorers from ACC Conference play only stats last year.

Lowe- 12 points per game, ORTG 109
Leggett- 11 points per game ORTG 111
Corhen- 9.8 points per game ORTG 128

That's already a strong core with proven production at the ACC level with quality efficiency to back it up, we arent counting on 5 star freshmen or guys coming up from the midmajor ranks here. But here's the thing. We have 2 double digit ACC scorers returning that were underclassmen. It is to be expected that they are going to be better. And potentially, wayyyy better, which I think is highly likely for Lowe and likely for Corhen.

And if your telling me we are adding in another guy that is going to be better than 1 of these 3 guys, then we are going to be way better than 8th place and way better than just a tournament team. Im making no prediction on Delalic but Im hopeful he fits in somewhere in the Greg Elliot mold as a shooter. That in itself would give this team a big boost.
ORTG baby.. nothing more important than this

Rothstein Picks Pitt 8th in ACC

In ACC Conference play only stats,

Jaland Lowe had a higher shooting percentage, 3 point shooting percentage by a wide margin, a better ORTG power rating, better assist to turnover ratio, better free throw percentage, and less turnovers per game than Bub Carrington in ACC Conference play. In fact, Bub only scored 1.5 points more per game than Lowe in ACC Conference play and he played 2 more minutes per game. Let's not override or dismiss the fact that Lowe turned it on and flipped the switch big time which was the main reason our entire season turned around. He was the main catalyst at point guard leading the charge. And I wouldn't be surprised if he is a future All American. And I can certainly argue he was better than Bub in ACC Conference play last year.

And as far as impact players. Cam Corhen averaged 9.8 points per game in ACC Conference play as a sophomore with an ORTG offensive power rating of 128 with a 68% shooting percentage (Troutman level), which is better than anyone in the entire Jeff Capel era, and he did that as a 19 year old sophomore. Why this guy is constantly getting slept on is beyond me. There was so much hype around Fede the last few years because of his defense which used to make me dizzy because I was one of the few that never bought into the Fede noise, and Corhen destroyed Fede, twice, coming off the bench, as an 18 year old and 19 year old underclassmen. And now he is a seasoned junior with the one of the best returning offensive power ratings in the entire ACC. He was second last year in win shares at seasons end on Florida State's team.

Here's a fun little poll idea. Which duo would you take, Hinson and Bub last year, or Lowe and Corhen this year? Because I think the latter is going to be really, really good this year.
i love this.

Early signs that tourism in the U.S. is tanking.

Century Aluminum's new smelter is the result of a $1 billion grant given by the Biden administration as part of the Jobs Act and was announced in March 2024.

Nucor Steel began construction on their $3 billion WV plant in 2023. (Fun fact, Trump's recent ban on offshore wind farms could potentially cripple Nucor's new #1.7 billion Kentucky plant that was completed in 2023 specifically to service the United States' growing wind farm needs).

Hyundai's new plant was also a recipient of the Jobs Act and announced in 2022, starting construction in 2023.

The TSMC plant is the first of like 5, four of which are the result of Biden's CHIPS act funding (Most of which in loans).

So out of the 5 examples you "cherry picked the other way", 4 of them have absolutely nothing to do with Trump's policies.
I think you are inferring something that my post didn’t imply. I wasn’t implying a causal connection. I’m not MAGA and I have never voted for Trump. I was making an observation that a number of large companies have announced new plans to manufacture in the US, and that dire predictions of the effects of Trump’s policies have to be balanced by many of the good things happening in re-shoring manufacturing in the US, which has been steadily occurring for a variety of reasons for a number of years. I would say, though, that Trump v.1 did reset the conversation on global trade, especially with China, and Biden left many of Trump’s Chinese tariff’s in place, and even expanded some. It’s hard to say what would have happened on this score if Hillary (who I did vote for) had been elected. This reset is only one of many factors that have led to business executives concluding that re-shoring is a good thing, but I don’t think one can conclude convincingly that these announcements “have absolutely nothing to do with Trump’s policies.”
