Sorry if that makes me a bad fan. I hope I’m wrong and everyone can tell me how stupid I am after the game is over. But right now it’s just so awful to see a team who I all thought was legit playoff team get destroyed like this.
Teams that are undefeated late in the year often come out flat the next week after losing for the first time. Look no further than the dud Navy put out in the first half tonight against a terrible Rice team.
Hopefully the coaching staff is able to get the players to put this disaster behind them against a Virginia team that’s not very good but is far from a pushover.
