Sorry, but Holstein is really starting to look like a one-read QB. Reid wasn't there... okay. But Kenny Johnson was wide open on the same side of the field for a short pass that would have yielded 20 yards.
If he had tackled him instead of just danced with him they'd have had a 3rd and 3 and we'd have had a chance to get the defense off the field pretty quickly. Instead, ugh.
It would have been a 3rd and short they very likely could have gotten anyway, but at least it wouldn't have been a big play that caused everyone to have to sprint down to the ball and kept us on our heels the rest of the drive. Definitely a costly mistake.
