The problem with 1st Round QB's is they have to be really good right away. Maybe there's some leniency in Year 1. But by Year 2, if they dont show franchise potential, teams move on. Most QB's take time. Its a very hard position. There are some QBs who are very good right away and NFL teams feel if their 1st Rounder isnt a Pro Bowl type right away, jts a wasted pick and time to move on.

Seems like networks have given up. We had an unbelievable run from about 1995-2015 but it seems to be over. We got banger after banger.

Question for the boards: I’m a season ticket holder for Pitt, and am looking to get away tickets to the brawl in September. Do season ticket holders get a chance at the visitor allotment or should I plan on single tickets/after market?

I am sorry......you got to fire Jim Phillips, the ACC Commissioner. He has been an abject disaster. I know much of this is not directly his fault, but as we have seen in Presidential elections, sometimes the events and results cost elected officials their jobs. The ACC was an aggressor in the 2000's, with the Big East raid, then taking Pitt and Syracuse, but as we joined we got a chance to see behind the curtain a conference really run by hayseeds. The ACC hired Jim Phillips from the Big 10 (Northwestern) but he has almost acted like like a double knot spy for the Big 10/SEC in killing the ACC. Basketball has crashed and burned. Now football is doing the same.

As I said, yeah alot is not his fault but.....................he is the man in charge. You got to fire him and get someone else, just to change momentum, hell karma aka "juju" because Phillips seems to have the reverse Midas touch and everything he does turns to crap.

The ACC has to move on from this guy. It has become a complete embarrassment. And the networks and media and sycophants of the power 2 are preying on this.

Somewhat surprising considering two of the bluest blue bloods and biggest fanbases were in the Champ game and the Final 4 consisted of 4 of the top 6 fanbase sizes. I think it shows that despite the expanded playoffs, as the playoffs proceed, they run into the NFL playoffs and kind of getting muddled and overlooked. I am sure SMU, Boise and ASU didn't help earlier rounds as they don't have much cache.
