He’s been much better the last two games. He’s played with force and with a purpose. Seems like they were able to iron out a lot and got a message through to him. We need him to be a really consistent player for us if we want to reach where we think we can.

By no means does he need to average a double double. Just be a consistent player who’s going to rebound the hell out if it and be strong.

Against Cal - we are down 16
Against Stanford - we go down 11
Against Duke - we are down double figures basically the last 25 min of the game.

I get that Duke is a totally different equation than the Pacific schools…but this is a bad trend. I think we were down 10+ at one point to VT as well, right?

I think a lot of it is focus, I think we can be bad defensively at times, but this stuff needs to end Saturday. You can’t keep getting down 10+ in every game lol.

Third rate program with a weak schedule.

Texas drives down the field to potentially score the game tying TD. They get a PI call in the end zone. First and goal at the 2. Pass play...another PI. First and goal at the one yard line. Texas goes shotgun on first and goal from the 1. Handoff....stuffed. Second down on the 1....wide pitch loses 6. Pass play...strip sack for a TD.

Why in the name of god line up in shot gun on first and one? Get over center and run the QB sneak. If you get a half yard run it again. If you get stuffed run it again on 3rd. Heck run it again on 4th. You've got to be able to sneak at least once for a yard. The wide pitch that lost 6 made no sense. OSU is coming downhill the whole time. Play calling disaster. Another coach overthinking the situation.

In the last minute of regulation. ASU receiver caught a pass just over mid field with less than a minute in regulation and closing in on a winning field goal attempt. He got nailed while still defenseless with a helmet right to the face. Should have been 15 yards for targeting but they reviewed it and said no targeting. The defender planted the crown of his helmet right in the receiver's face and just about knocked him out. If that wasn't a classic target I don't know what is. Should have had the ball inside the 35 with time left.

The jinx is on.
