When is time to be concerned about the portal and the lack of movement to Pitt?

I was curious, and I looked at last year, and we got some after this point transfers (most notably Eli, and Chief Borders), but most of the incoming transfers had already been committed at this point last year. I also have concern that after the bowl game on the 26th with the portal still being open, we may see a new influx of guys from our roster enter the portal since it will still be open at that point.

I think the Kicker is a good get seemingly, and Spann seems like a big receiver without much production at all, but we will see obviously, not going to shoot anyone down without seeing them on the field first, but still no offensive lineman, no Safety which I feel is needed as well, and maybe a DE.

The Big Ten plays a game on all but 3 days from Jan 2-Mar 9

No games on 3 Mondays (Feb 3, 10, 17). And they also make use of the late night window, something that the ACC does not do, which is surprising to me. I thought ACCN would do some tripleheaders with a 10 or 11PM start in the Bay Area.

The ACC jams all their games in on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays with a couple Big Monday games sprinkled in once college football ends. This is really bad scheduling in my opinion. If you attend ACC games or have other things going on on Tue/Wed nights, you cant watch much ACC basketball. Meanwhile, the B10 is open 7 days per week.

Article What happened to the recruiting class of 2021?

Pitt's 2021 recruiting class was one of the highest-ranked classes of the Pat Narduzzi era.

Now, three years later, it has almost completely washed out.

What happened?

Minutes Discussion

I'm really confused by Capel's rotation choices. Playing the same 5 18 minutes in the second half is what sunk us. Corhen is not a 38 minutes a game player and I don't think G was poor enough at the 5 to warrant sitting him almost the whole second half. I really think the fatigue led to the defense lapses we saw at the end. Frustrating.

Ford Field Experience

It is a short and the weather was fine for December in Detroit.
The Panthers were very well represented and the fans were enthusiastic.
Ford Field is an excellent facility.
I'll take climate-controlled and 72 degrees any day of the week.
A fun trip except for the outcome.
If in Detroit, Mitsos Greek Food. The wait is worth it for the traditional Greek gyro made from hand-stacked pork.

Soft

This team is soft
Were you up and exposed. It’s all one video. The Scott reports will be consistent. And now the key question is can we adapt?

Three straight years, we did not bring in a strong bonding power forward, and it shows.

Again, can we adapt?

Because once the video is out there, the opposition would be crazy not to follow the same script.
