    I watched all day Sunday because I really like DJ. Visually the broadcast was different to me and it took me a while to figure out why. I had become so used to the grandstands and crowds, that an empty golf course missing bleachers looked so odd to me. A lot of the holes did not seem the same.

    Do you hold any of those teams in the same light as Kentucky? I sure don’t. It’s the perfect example. A great coach who has been enhanced to God like status because of school he is coaching at. He has only won a National Championship while at Kentucky. Great records at other schools...

    John Calipari didn’t land all the top hoops recruits until he was at Kentucky. Yeah he got many great guys but nothing like being at Big Blue Nation. So the school definitely helps. So,yes, Saban would make Pitt better, but not Bama better.

    Absolutely. Just retired in May and since waking up is not an issue anymore I get to enjoy late evening sports again. Amazing series. Back and forth each game. Way too much micro managing on pitchers though. People hate the Dodgers cause of money but they are actually a very likable team.

    As a non alum you can choose and un choose all you want. Those that went to the school never can un choose. So walking away is not an option and is a ridiculous discussion to have. When Heinz opens up again, Pitt football will get the same number of ardent fans no matter what the record is.
