2 OL recruits have been offered by Pitt, one for '17 and one for '18.
Jackson Carman is a 4* stud in '18, standing 6'6 260#. He's from Fairfield, OH (near Cincinnati), so he's in our "local" recruiting area, and we've gotten some 4* kids out of OH very recently (Hall, Hill, Flowers). Carman is very big-time and will be tough to sign, though, as he's already gotten offers from Alabama and Ohio St, plus many others.
Johnny Jordan is a 3* OL in '17, standing 6'3 290#. He's from DC, so he's also in our recruiting area. There's nothing special about his 3* status or offers from so-so major conference schools like Maryland, Virginia, Kentucky, and UNC. What I really like, however, is his combination of a) having an offer from Navy, whose OL are generally smart and nasty, b) Jordan specifically telling Vukovcan that he excels at football IQ and nastiness, and c) his Hudl video is one clip after another of him being one nasty SOB. He doesn't let up on opponents, even when he's no longer involved in the play; they've absolutely got to hate playing him. He's out to demoralize defenders, and even if he shows up as a project who needs time to be a college player, I like knowing he's already working his tail off in situations that don't need it - bodes well for coach-up-ability and staying with the play in college.
