CBS Sports already predicted Big Ten & Big-12 now comes the ACC.
Pitt gets some good ink in the Link, but still has a tough road to hoe. Positive Predictions are great but Game Day Execution are better! Conner is back but Hamlin is out, good and bad news, but Pitt is Still it!
Excerpt:
Most underrated team
Pittsburgh: The Coastal is one of the weirdest divisions in college football. Four different teams have won it in the past five years, and trying to predict what happens there is near impossible. That said, look for Pitt to take a step forward in 2015. James Conner returns, and if he can return to his 2014 form, he's one of the nation's top running backs. Add that to a defense that should improve in Pat Narduzzi's second season -- they showed some tendencies of Narduzzi's Michigan State's defenses last year, like having a top-30 havoc rate -- and I think there's potential in Pittsburgh for a sneaky division title run. -- Robby Kalland (In agreement: Jon Solomon, Jerry Palm, Chip Patterson)
Bold ACC prediction
Jon Solomon: In the topsy-turvy world that is the ACC Coastal, Pitt will win the division. Miami, an ACC member since 2004, will have to wait another year for its first ACC Championship Game trip.
ACC Coastal Predicted order of finish:
Pitt 1st-4th (Two-#1, Two-#2, Two-#3, One-#4)
B-10 East Predicted order of finish:
Penn State 4th-5th (Six-4th, One-5th)
B-12 Predicted order of finish
WVU 5th-8th (One-5th, One-6th, Three-7th, One-8th)
No Preseason Superlatives For Any Pitt, WVU or Penn State Player, Recruits, or Coaches.
Looks like another 7-6 to 8-5 Year for Pitt, WVU, and Penn State. As Pitt not near Top 5 FSU & Clemson Programs. Penn State taking on Top 10-12 Ohio State, Michigan, and MSU. WVU preparing for a Top 10 OU. All good measuring sticks for all 3 Regional Teams. All good measuring sticks.
So Little Done So Much To Do!
