Lost to Northwestern today 1-0. I dont think NW is that good at soccer so that's a horrible loss for a team that has no real margin for error given the difficulty of their schedule.

Northwestern was picked to finish 7th in the nine team Big Ten men's soccer preseason poll. That's the kind of game you need to be winning in Pitt's position if you want to make the NCAA tournament.
Lost to 2-0 Wake. Big crowd. The bleachers were full and people were standing from behind the visitor bench all around to across from the visitor bench. However, the behind the goal SRO section is closed due to renovations.
Wake is the best college team I've ever seen. I think they'd beat the Riverhounds rather easily. Just faster and more technical. Simply just better. They pretty much dominated except for a 10 minute stretch in the 2nd Half when Pitt had about 4 good chances but the keeper made some great saves.
Akron tomorrow who is a blue blood but had fallen out of the Top 25
