I really think the 2019 is where the talented Narduzzi class becomes experienced and they start to win 8-9 games easily. The 2020 team imo gets to 10 wins. 2019 is going to have a lot of good players with 2-3 years experience and the depth will be great. 2018 is going to be the bridge year imo. I made a couple position switches, but who knows. Gotta keep recruiting these guys replacements so that the ball can keep rolling.

The components to a good program are absolutely being put in place. The fans and administration just need to support the coaches and team.

Next year’s class needs to produce a top RB, WR, and LB.

I think QB and OL are good enough.
TE will be a strength as will DL and secondary.

From what I've read, '19 is historically weak in the wpial. It will be very important for Narduzzi to lock these kids up and have an early plan in place for targeting players outside of the area.

I also expect 7-8 wins next year. For Pitt to ever win 10 games with the way we have been recruiting would be close to a miracle. Not saying we couldn't do it but to "expect" something that has about a 1% chance of happening would be setting yourself up for misery.

if you're expecting 9-10 wins next year you will be sorely disappointed. Our fanbase doesn't seem to ever learn with the unreal expectations. After watching this team this season and then to expect to win 9 games next year is absolutely ludicrous.

Btw, a little off topic, does anyone have any idea who our ACC division crossover games will be next season?

Wake Forest I believe

There is very little chance Pitt gets over 8 wins next year. We’ll be looking at 7-8 wins next year max imo.

The year after I see 8-9 wins, with 9 most likely. 9 wins is moving rhe needle beyond the 8 wins that Narduzzi has maxed out at his first 3 years and the most since 2010. So ya, that’s turning a corner to me.

Also, I think Pitt getting to 10 wins is about their max that we can realistically expect. It happened in 2010, which is 7 years ago. They won 8 in 2011 and 9 in 2009. That isn’t good enough for us? I’m not sure what this “i’ve been hearing this for 20 years now” means. It happened 7 years ago..... if you expect 11+ national champions, you might want to consider following a different program.

To your point, 2019 we drop ND from the schedule and replace them with a cupcake AND our crossover game is Boston college. Definitely the easiest schedule under Narduzzi.

I think 10 wins with the current ACC schedule is very unlikely. 2008-2010 in a garbage big east it really should have happened 2 of those 3 years. Pitt squandered (and I mean wanny) it’s best chance to go to BCS games a couple times.

I hope narduzzi is the guy to get us to consistently winning 8 a year but I’m still not sure. There are some signs, but if we get torched by Miami and VT those positives go out the window.

Way too much youth your projected OL for me to be a believer right now.

I like your projections, but until we answer the QB problem, all bets are off. IMO, it's
hard to project 2019 QB until we see who we have in 2018. I can't remotely believe
that Narducci goes into 2018 with the three guys you predict for 2019. Pickett, as much
as I like what I see, is getting zero time now, and therefore remains a HUGE question mark. My guess is Narducci will not risk the 2018 season on these two guys and will
bring in another grad transfer. If Pickett beats out the grad transfer, let him start. If not, he can even redshirt Pickett to make up for his lost freshman year. If DiNucci wins the job in 2018, we're in trouble and we'd be 6-6 at best. Regardless, 2019 will have a fourth QB
due to recruiting.

You are spot on.
