Which is actually better than last week, because they apparently are allowing voters to vote for the Big Ten teams again. Six Big Ten teams are ranked, although some people either aren't voting for those teams yet or are seriously dinging them for not playing yet, because the highest ranked is Ohio State at number 10.

I know polls don't matter but its still insanely stupid to vote for teams who wont play for a month and may never play because who knows what happens between now and October 24. I mean I know OSU and PSU have great rosters but would they rank them at 0-0 over Pitt, if by some miracle we are 6-0?

I agree, but the AP is going to start allowing those teams to be voted on starting next week.

By the time the Big Ten teams actually start playing someone voting in the polls should be voting based on how well the team has played in the season to date, not based on how good you thought they would be before the season started. Maybe you could justify voting for a team not playing yet because everyone else has only played one or two games, but in a couple weeks there is no way you should be voting teams that haven't played ahead of teams that are 5-0 or 6-0.
