30 Wins in 3 Years

I know it feels great to add up collective wins over the course of seasons, but at some point this program has got see 10 wins as a norm and not a miracle season. I mean 8-9 feels better than 6, but 10 wins is not out of reach. This program should be able to manage that nearly every season.

Good for Georgia but Pitt is in the top 6 with 20 wins the past two years and can be in the running next year for the ACC championship. Plus a ten win season. H2P!

The key to having anyone take Pitt seriously with a 9-10 win season is to quit dropping inexcusable turds to inferior opponents like WMU and GT.

If those kinds of teams were equal to or better than Pitt in any measurable way it would be another story, but they weren't--not even close. Losing to those kinds of opponents is squarely on the head coach.

As tough and disappointing as this season was at times, just beating GT as a heavy favorite would have changed the entire post-seaon perception of the 2022 Panthers. Narduzzi gets paid a lot of money to beat the teams he has no business losing to.

This program is getting to my expectations. I used to say that we should have no issue being at the level of a program like Iowa. Consistent 8 win seasons with occasional 10+. Narduzzi has us there!

Supposedly our new QB is better than Slovis, and we have a new 4-star RB and WR right? So, 10 wins is doable I would think.

all we have to do to get to ten wins is win the games we are supposed to and win one game se shouldn't

The following is what is happening in today's college football environment:

I'd put off any huge expectations for Pitt Football for now.

I dunno.....but I would love to see it. How impressive was it that Pitt had 33 wins in 3 years, but no teams played more than 12 games a year including a bowl game? Because that is what we did in Jackie's last 3 years. 33-3.
It is an accomplishment no doubt!
I was at Pitt for 2 years when we went 11-1. We really did kick some arse

It’s only impressive for SOME teams (coaches) in this city to have success but not have it result in championships.

I agree but we obviously are not there yet. This year finished well after a disappointing start. If we can win another 10 or more next year, recruiting should continue to be on the upswing. The 2024 class could be top 25.

Narduzzi has had his warts but overall is trending in the right direction. I argue that he still loses 1-2 games a year that he shouldn’t. If he can avoid those, we will see more 10+ win seasons. Is he is the right coach to consistently get us there? I hope so but I just don’t know. I do believe what can get us there is more talent rather than Narduzzi becoming a better coach. Increasing the talent level through transfers, high school recruiting and player development will be key.
