Many good things about 2017 4* Athlete/RB Bruce Judson and Pitt's chances with him:

1. He's from Florida, and landing a highly ranked player out of Florida is great for both assessing how well our HC is recruiting and for laying inroads to the state for the future.
2. He came to Pitt's Spring Game, which can't be a small feat for someone living 1,000 miles away.
3. He has offers from Alabama, Ohio State, and others. And by others I mean schools like Clemson, Florida, UCLA, etc. Wanna see his ridiculous highlights that got him all this love? Here you go (Link) - spoiler: he finds a tiny gap and hits the after burners.
4. It turns out he actually committed to Ohio State a year ago, but pumped the breaks in November, re-opening his recruitment. So he's willing to come north and brave the weather.
5. This could get a whole lot better. One of the reasons he pulled back from Ohio State was that they hadn't yet offered his friend Cyrus Fagan. Judson said at the time they're a package deal, which might sound a little prima donna-ish, except Pitt should LOVE this arrangement. Fagan is a 4* safety (#5 in the country, top-70 overall) with offers from Alabama, USC, etc. (Link) Unfortunately, Fagan recently committed to FSU, but Pitt did offer him a while ago, and I'm sure Narduzzi will stay on him if Judson comes aboard.
6. This morning, Judson tweeted birthday wishes to Narduzzi: "Happy birthday to my main man @CoachDuzzPittFB #HTP #Commit2Pitt" - so that's a really good sign.

-We are in great shape with Jeter, Judson, and Wade. We are at the top for Hansard, but maybe not the very top. I think he was close to possibly committing to us May 13th, but delayed the decision. These are the types of players I want the most.

-Judson looks pretty good. Not Elite, but pretty good.

We have 4 star players in our backyard who feel the need to leave the Pittsburgh area for college (Luggs, Adams, Kinish,) but then you see nationally recruited players from other areas who see Pitt much differently.

Hansard wanted to commit to Michigan but was told to pump the brakes by Harbaugh according to Michigan insiders. It was initially thought Michigan and OSU were the biggest possibilities for his decision on May 13th but neither are taking his commitment at this point. Since he said he was delaying his decision, he's decided to open up his recruitment and take his time. He's been to campus and HCPN visited him which are great signs. He was also at Ped State's spring game last weekend. I'd be skeptical of a commitment because he's being slow played by the top programs. He could potentially be a last minute flip if OSU or Michigan find room for him.

-Not that 247 is the ultimate lead source, but they changed the teams around since then. That network is also very biased and pro Notre Dame and Penn State among others.

Which can be a good thing because a recruit from outside the area is motivated to prove himself in a different environment, and gain respect as well.

if they are a package deal, and the one 1/2 committed to fsu, and Judson has an fsu offer, wouldn't that mean they are looking good? Not arguing, just asking.. I'd love to land this guy..

#Commit2Pitt means nothing until he, you know, actually commits to Pitt.
