7 Crystal Balls for Puff Johnson

So between him and Amzil, who you taking? My gut would be Amzil given injury history but not sure who is better.

Good to have options. Ill trust Capel and company on this one as I have not seen enough of either guy (and doubt most on here have either) to make a call. Having said that the Dayton guy has more playing experience so I guess that would appear to make him the more attractive option. Theres the kid from HIghpoint as well.

Counterpoint, Puff Johnson has ACC experience and scored 11 points in the National Championship.

Which is the more productive player?

Puff….Puff…. PASS

That's good stuff.

I've seen this dude play a handful of times this season, and he has about as much business suiting up for a blue blood as I do. Surprised he hasn't Jerome Laned a backboard... but from shooting bricks instead of dunking. No thanks on this one.

That's like Levon Kendall going for 40 once vs Team USA. It just doesnt add up.

Gerald Drumgoole broke Wilt Chamberlain's record in a scrimmage vs Maryland. He gonna be goooood.

But yeah. Sometimes, dudes just have a day. And when we talk about 11 points like it's some mythical feat... well.

I can believe how bad his 3P percentage is. Just awful.

Has nobody watched Puff play? If he stays healthy he has more potential than most players available in the portal. High energy player. Great off ball motion. Good rebounder.
I’ve watched him play a few times this year. Poor outside shooter and soft. We need good veteran guards, outside shooting, and a physical inside presence. I did not see any of these things from him.

Well, he is frequently hurt, so it's not exactly easy to see him play. But I have managed to catch him a few times, and high energy was not the impression I came away with. Outside his performance in the 22 championship, I was usually wondering why they let him shoot so much.

Soft? I didn't get that impression. I forgot to mention it seemed like he fouled a lot.
