I've seen multiple posters say that they want Matta and they want him now. I get where that comes from, but can Pitt wait to hire Matta until the day after the tournament? This would allow Matta to "recruit" for a month without worrying about any rules or no-contact periods during the tournament. It would also give him time to assemble a staff through back channels that could all be announced at once when the tournament ends to hit the recruiting trail.
Obviously, this would need to be relayed quietly to the players on the roster now so they don't all get frustrated waiting a month to know where they'll be transferring to this summer.
